Stellar began as a run club in the summer of ’24, when we hosted our very first run together with our good friends from Wholesome CPH. While running remains our main focus, Stellar has grown into something much bigger than just a run club.

From the launch run, we started showing up every Sunday. In the beginning, it was often just four or five of us meeting outside Frederiksberg Metro Station, ready to run and spend the morning together.

But the number never really mattered. Those Sundays quickly became the highlight of my week. We kept showing up simply because we loved it, and stopping was never something I considered.

Slowly but surely, four people became more. Familiar faces brought new ones, friendships formed, and Stellar grew into something I could never have imagined when we first started.

And while I may have started Stellar, the community is what built it.

I truly believe that kind people attract kind people. The warmth, openness and energy that each of you brings is the reason new people continue to find their way to Stellar — and the reason it has become what it is today.

So thank you for showing up, for welcoming new faces, for sharing your Sundays, and for bringing your own little piece of Stellar with you.
